How to Read the Finessa Label and Panel
The Finessa label we were given has two parts: a tub front with marketing words and a Supplement Facts panel with the real numbers. The panel wins when they differ. Both are missing directions, warnings, storage, maker and an FDA statement, so we say plainly what we cannot see.

The tub front01
What does the front of the Finessa label say?
It names a powder in a white tub with a navy label, 3.38 oz (96 g), sold as a dietary supplement.
The front carries the words "Maximum Absorption", a grey band reading "Digestive Health Support", and "Prebiotics, Probiotics & Liver Cleansing Formula". It also says "3 Billion CFU". These are brand wording, not findings. FDA does not approve supplements (FDA 101: Dietary Supplements).
The panel02
How do you read the Finessa Supplement Facts panel?
Start with the serving: 1 scoop, 50 servings a tub. Then read the blends from top to bottom.
The panel prints 10 calories, 3 g carbohydrate and small amounts of selenium, sodium and potassium. Four blends follow, each with one total weight. Parts inside are listed from most to least by weight, but single amounts are hidden (21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends)).
| Blend | Printed total | Lines |
|---|---|---|
| Polyphenol | 1,000 mg | 9 |
| Gut Health | 755 mg | 5 |
| Liver Health | 450 mg | 5 |
| Probiotic | 52.5 mg | 10 |
The math03
Do the numbers on the Finessa label add up?
No. The blend lines plus 2 mg of Akkermansia come to 2,259.5 mg, yet 96 g over 50 servings is about 1.92 g a scoop.
The front also says 3 Billion CFU, while the panel says 5 Billion at manufacture. We do not know which number is off. Ask for the lot's certificate of analysis, and trust the tub you receive.

What to do05
What should you check on the tub you receive?
Look for the directions, warnings and the lot number first.
The cascara in the Gut Health blend is a stimulant-laxative herb (MSK, Cascara (About Herbs)). Keep taking prescribed medicine, and check with your doctor (FDA, Mixing medications and supplements). The Supplement Facts guide has a line-by-line view.

FAQ06
Questions about the label
Where is the Finessa expiration date?
It is not visible in the images we were given. Look for a printed date and lot number on the tub you receive, and ask the order desk if they are missing.
Does the Finessa label show who makes it?
The images name no maker or distributor. The seller, Gofinessa, calls itself a U.S. stocking partner. Ask the order desk for the maker before you buy if that matters to you.
Why does the label print a weight for probiotics?
Labels must list the weight of the microorganisms, which has no link to live cell counts (NIH ODS, Probiotics fact sheet (CFU, label)). CFU is a voluntary line, and Finessa prints two different CFU figures.
Is the Finessa label FDA approved?
No. FDA does not approve supplement labels or products before sale (FDA 101: Dietary Supplements). The images show no FDA statement either.
