The list01
What are the Finessa ingredients?
The Finessa ingredients list on the Supplement Facts panel holds nine fruit and vegetable powders, five gut lines, five liver lines, a probiotic blend and one Akkermansia strain. Six other ingredients fill out the base.
The blends are the Polyphenol Blend (1,000 mg), Gut Health (755 mg), the Liver Health Blend (450 mg) and the Probiotic Blend (52.5 mg). A separate line gives 2 mg of Akkermansia muciniphila AH39.
The base is resistant dextrin, natural flavors, citric acid, sea salt, stevia extract (leaf) and silicon dioxide.
Finessa is a powder supplement, not a drug. The FDA does not approve supplements before sale (FDA 101: Dietary Supplements).

See the supplement facts page for the full panel.
6 vs 8 vs 2202
Why do Finessa's ingredient counts differ across sources?
Three sources give three lists. The marketing graphic shows 6 ingredients, the sales page names 8, and the Supplement Facts panel lists 22 distinct named lines.
The graphic leaves out cascara sagrada. The sales page names it (Finessa sales page).
| Source | Count | Names cascara? | Shows amounts? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Marketing graphic | 6 | No | No |
| Sales page | 8 | Yes | No |
| Supplement Facts panel | 22 lines | Yes, 10:1 extract | Blend totals only |
Our rule: the panel wins. If your tub differs, trust your tub and call the order desk at +1 (302) 200-3480. See label vs sales page for the full comparison.

How big is each line?04
How much of each ingredient can one Finessa scoop hold?
Line k of a blend weighs at most the blend total divided by k. This is our arithmetic from the label order, not a lab test.
Take the 755 mg Gut Health blend. Cinnamon is first, so at most 755 mg. Ginger is second, so at most 377 mg. Cascara sagrada is third, so at most 251 mg.
The label math does not add up: the blend lines total 2,259.5 mg, but 96 g across 50 servings is about 1.92 g a scoop. We cannot tell which number is off, so ask for the lot's certificate of analysis.

Worth a closer look06
Which Finessa ingredients need the most care?
Cascara sagrada needs the most care. It is a stimulant-laxative herb, and the FDA ruled in 2002 that it is not generally recognized as safe and effective as an over-the-counter laxative ingredient (FDA 2002 final rule, cascara sagrada and aloe (Federal Register)).
Long use can lower potassium and sodium (MSK, Cascara (About Herbs)). Compare "no known side effects" on the sales page.
Cascara sagrada
Strong laxative; not for pregnancy or children. See cascara sagrada in Finessa.
Licorice extract
The DGL form removes glycyrrhizin, which raises blood pressure and lowers potassium (NCCIH, Licorice root).
Turmeric and ginger
Ginger can affect blood thinners (MSK, Ginger (blood thinners, diabetes drugs, gallstones)). Concentrated curcumin has been linked to liver injury (NCCIH, Turmeric).
Do not stop or change a prescribed medicine because you started a supplement. Ask your doctor or pharmacist first (FDA, Mixing medications and supplements).

FAQ08
Finessa ingredients questions
What are the main active ingredients in Finessa?
The panel lists four blends: fruit powders, a gut blend with cinnamon, ginger, cascara sagrada, licorice extract and a prebiotic fiber, a liver blend with dandelion, turmeric, milk thistle, artichoke and silymarin, and probiotics. It adds 2 mg of Akkermansia.
Does Finessa contain cascara sagrada?
Yes. The Gut Health blend lists cascara sagrada extract 10:1 in third place, so by our arithmetic it weighs at most about 251 mg a scoop. It is a stimulant-laxative herb (MSK, Cascara (About Herbs)).
How many ingredients are in Finessa?
The Supplement Facts panel lists 22 distinct named lines. The sales page names 8 and a marketing graphic shows 6. We follow the panel and trust the tub you receive.
Are the Finessa ingredient amounts listed?
Only blend totals are printed: 1,000, 755, 450 and 52.5 mg. Single amounts are hidden, as US rules allow (21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends)). We show ceilings from the label order, not measured amounts.
Is Finessa made with natural ingredients?
The panel lists plant powders, extracts and live bacteria. Natural does not mean risk-free, since herbs can affect medicines and the liver (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements: What You Need To Know). The brand's badges are its own claims.
