What does the Finessa tub say on the front?
The front reads Finessa, "Maximum Absorption", "Digestive Health Support", "Prebiotics, Probiotics & Liver Cleansing Formula" and "3 Billion CFU", with a net weight of 3.38 oz (96 g). These are the brand's words, and we report them in quotes.
Who sells Finessa, and who makes it?

What does "Maximum Absorption" on the tub mean?
The label does not define it, and we found no absorption study of Finessa. Treat it as brand wording. Nothing on the panel, such as a delivery system, explains how absorption would be maximized.
Is Finessa a medicine for constipation or liver disease?

What is on the Finessa label?

How many blends are on the Finessa label?
Four blends: Polyphenol Blend (1,000 mg), Gut Health (755 mg), Liver Health Blend (450 mg) and Probiotic Blend (52.5 mg). Akkermansia muciniphila AH39 has its own 2 mg line. The Daily Value is not established for them.
Why are single ingredient amounts hidden on the label?
A blend may print only its total weight, with parts listed from most to least (21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends)). So Finessa shows blend totals only. We rank the lines to find a ceiling for each, and call that arithmetic, not a measurement.
Do the Finessa blend weights fit in one scoop?
No. The lines add up to 2,259.5 mg a scoop, but 96 g over 50 servings is about 1.92 g. We do not know which number is off. Ask for the lot's certificate of analysis and trust the tub you receive.
What is the most cascara sagrada a scoop can hold?
About 251 mg. Cascara is third of five lines in the 755 mg Gut Health blend, so it weighs at most 755 divided by 3. That is our arithmetic from the label order, and the real amount could be lower.
Why does the panel print Raphanus sativus for purple carrot?
Raphanus sativus is the Latin name of radish, not carrot. The panel prints it beside purple carrot, and we cannot tell which plant is in the powder. We report the oddity as printed and suggest asking the order desk.
Why is L. casei listed twice on the panel?
The Probiotic Blend prints L. casei two times, and the panel does not say why. It may be a repeat or two different strains. Strain-level facts matter for probiotics, so ask the order desk for the full strain list (NCCIH, Probiotics: usefulness and safety).

The sales page says water or another drink. It does not name a drink, a volume or a temperature. A plain glass of water keeps it simple, and it adds fluids if you are adding fiber (NIDDK, Constipation treatment).
Why does the sales page say to use Finessa for at least 6 months?
It claims "peak benefits" at "at least 6 months". We found no study behind that figure. If you try it, set a review date, and remember the 180-day guarantee ends before six months pass.
Should I start with half a scoop?

Does Finessa interact with blood thinners?
It might. Ginger can interact with blood thinners and NSAIDs (MSK, Ginger (blood thinners, diabetes drugs, gallstones)), and cassia cinnamon carries coumarin (NCCIH, Cinnamon (cassia and coumarin)). Cranberry data with warfarin conflict (Sweeney 2022, berry polyphenols and gut microbiota (RCT review)). Ask your prescriber first and never stop a prescribed medicine on your own (FDA, Mixing medications and supplements).
Is Finessa safe in pregnancy or while nursing?
We cannot say it is. Cascara is advised against in pregnancy and nursing (University of Rochester Medical Center, Cascara Sagrada (Health Encyclopedia)), and the label images we were given show no warning text. Ask your doctor before using any product with a laxative herb.
Can children or teens take Finessa?
The label images show no age guidance. Cascara is not safe for children because of the risk of low potassium and dehydration (University of Rochester Medical Center, Cascara Sagrada (Health Encyclopedia)). Do not give it to a child without a pediatrician's advice.
Can Finessa lower potassium?
Cascara can, with prolonged use, because it pulls water, sodium and potassium out with stool (MSK, Cascara (About Herbs)). A scoop adds only 10 mg of potassium. People on water pills or heart medicine should ask first.
Does the licorice in Finessa raise blood pressure?
The panel lists deglycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL), which has no glycyrrhizin. Glycyrrhizin is the part that raises blood pressure and lowers potassium (NCCIH, Licorice root). If the product is not truly DGL, the risk changes, so ask.
When should I stop Finessa and call a doctor?
Stop and call for blood in the stool, black stools, severe belly pain, vomiting, fever, yellow skin or eyes, or an allergic reaction (NIDDK, Constipation symptoms and causes) (NIDDK, Gallstones symptoms and causes). Call 911 for trouble breathing or a swollen throat.

What does the evidence say about Finessa?
No study has tested Finessa. The research that exists is on single ingredients, usually at other doses.
Has any trial tested Finessa itself?
No. We found no human trial of Finessa. The sales page cites no study of the product. The research we cover is about single ingredients, often at doses a scoop cannot hold, so it cannot predict your results.
What is the sales page's "14 clinical trials" claim?
It points to a 2014 meta-analysis of probiotics and constipation. It found about 1.3 more bowel movements a week, significant for B. lactis but not L. casei Shirota (Dimidi 2014, probiotics and functional constipation meta-analysis). It is accurate, but it is strain-specific.
Is the dandelion "2022 study" on the sales page real?
The study we traced is a 2011 mouse and rat experiment on a chemical fraction, not a 2022 human trial (Jin 2011, dandelion and gastric emptying in rodents). NCCIH finds no compelling evidence for dandelion in any condition (NCCIH, Dandelion).
Was the turmeric study on the sales page done on people?
No. The "2023 Frontiers in Microbiology" study used 28 rats and pure curcumin (Tu 2023, curcumin in IBS-C rats (Frontiers in Microbiology)). A scoop holds at most 225 mg of turmeric powder by our arithmetic, and bioavailable curcumin may harm the liver (NCCIH, Turmeric).
Do berry polyphenols change gut bacteria?
In three randomized trials, berries had no significant effect on gut microbiota (Sweeney 2022, berry polyphenols and gut microbiota (RCT review)). Finessa's polyphenol blend has nine lines, each at most a fraction of 1,000 mg, so any effect would be modest.
Can a powder "detox" or cleanse the liver?
There is no compelling evidence (NCCIH, Detoxes and cleanses) that detox programs remove toxins. The gut-liver axis is real research (Albillos 2020, gut-liver axis review (J Hepatol)), but it does not show that a supplement works. The liver clears waste by itself.
What does the sales page headline promise, and is it backed?
It promises "The Ultimate Formula for a Clean Gut, Smooth Digestive Support & a Flatter Belly". No trial of Finessa backs it. The FTC expects health claims to rest on solid human evidence (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance).

How soon is a Finessa refund paid?
