Finessa Polyphenols: What the 1,000 mg Blend Really Tells You
Finessa polyphenols are a 1,000 mg proprietary blend of nine fruit and root powders listed on the Supplement Facts panel. The label prints one total, not nine amounts. By label order, the third line can weigh at most 333 mg. The blend is a weight of powder, not a measured polyphenol dose.

The blend01
What are the Finessa polyphenols on the label?
The Finessa polyphenols are the first blend on the panel: 1,000 mg of beet root, black currant, pomegranate, raspberry, strawberry juice powder, cranberry, blueberry, purple carrot and acai berry extract.
That is nine lines under one total. US rules let a maker hide single amounts inside a blend, as long as the parts are listed from most to least by weight (21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends)).
One oddity: the panel prints "Raphanus sativus" for the purple carrot line. That is the Latin name of radish.
Our arithmetic02
How much of each fruit is in 1,000 mg?
No one outside the maker knows. The label order does set a ceiling for each line, which is our arithmetic and not a lab test.
Line k in a blend of total T can weigh at most T divided by k. The first line must weigh at least T divided by the number of lines, here 111 mg.
So pomegranate, third, weighs at most 333 mg and acai, ninth, at most 111 mg. The tables below show every blend.
| Place | Label line | Weight per scoop |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Beet root | At most about 1,000 mg · at least 111 mg |
| 2 | Black currant | At most about 500 mg |
| 3 | Pomegranate | At most about 333 mg |
| 4 | Raspberry | At most about 250 mg |
| 5 | Strawberry juice | At most about 200 mg |
| 6 | Cranberry | At most about 167 mg |
| 7 | Blueberry | At most about 143 mg |
| 8 | Purple carrot | At most about 125 mg |
| 9 | Acai berry | At most about 111 mg |
| Place | Label line | Weight per scoop |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Cinnamon (cassia) | At most about 755 mg · at least 151 mg |
| 2 | Ginger | At most about 378 mg |
| 3 | Cascara sagrada 10:1 | At most about 252 mg |
| 4 | DGL licorice | At most about 189 mg |
| 5 | Fructooligosaccharides | At most about 151 mg |
| Place | Label line | Weight per scoop |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Dandelion | At most about 450 mg · at least 90 mg |
| 2 | Turmeric | At most about 225 mg |
| 3 | Milk thistle | At most about 150 mg |
| 4 | Artichoke | At most about 112 mg |
| 5 | Silymarin 80% | At most about 90 mg |
A blend must list its parts from most to least by weight (21 CFR 101.36 (proprietary blends)). The panel prints four blend totals and 2 mg of Akkermansia: 1,000 + 755 + 450 + 52.5 + 2 = 2,259.5 mg a scoop. The tub says 3.38 oz (96 g) and the panel 50 servings, which is about 1.92 g a scoop, so the printed weights do not fit inside one scoop. We do not know which number is off. Ask for the lot certificate of analysis. This is our arithmetic from the label, not a lab test.
The research03
Do berry polyphenols change gut health?
Not in the trials we found. A systematic review of human randomized trials found three that met its bar, and berries eaten for 8 to 12 weeks had no significant effect on the gut microbiota (Sweeney 2022, berry polyphenols and gut microbiota (RCT review)).
None of those trials tested Finessa.
A second point matters. 1,000 mg is the weight of plant powder, and a powder is not all polyphenol. The panel does not print a polyphenol content, so a trial that used a measured amount cannot be matched to a scoop.

Is the polyphenol blend a reason to buy Finessa?
It is a reason to read the panel first, not a reason to buy. A scoop costs $0.78 to $1.18 by the panel's 50 servings (our arithmetic), and whole fruit brings fiber.
If you still want the powder, the Supplement Facts breakdown and the polyphenol ingredient page show every line. Prices are on the pricing page. Keep taking prescribed medicine, and ask a pharmacist about beet or cranberry if you take a blood thinner.

FAQ05
Questions about the polyphenol blend
How many polyphenols are in a Finessa scoop?
The label does not say. It prints 1,000 mg for the whole blend, which is plant powder weight. A polyphenol amount would need a lab test, and the panel gives none.
Is the acai in Finessa an extract or a powder?
The panel lists acai berry extract, last in the Polyphenol Blend. By label order it can weigh at most 111 mg a scoop. The other eight lines are listed as powders or juice powder.
Why does the label say Raphanus sativus for purple carrot?
Raphanus sativus is the Latin name of radish, not carrot. It may be a printing slip. We cannot confirm which plant is used, so ask the seller before relying on that line.
